There are several beautiful beaches along the coastline. Most of them lie in a bay and are surrounded by mountainous landscape.
There are two beaches in Moraira itself. The blue flag has been awarded to both beaches. An eco-label that is awarded by a non-profit organization Foundation for Environmental Education.
The largest and most popular sandy beach is called L’Ampolla. It is close to the center and the boulevard where several restaurants, bars and cafes are located. In the summer there is a lifeguard and first aid post present. Cars can easily be free parked on the large parking lot. The beach gradually declines, making it ideal for small children.
The sandy beach of El Portet (Playa del Portet) is about 1.5 km from the villa. The beach is surrounded by rocky walls, which makes it wonderful in the winter. The water is beautifully turquoise colored. This beach is also shallow and is gradually declining. The sandy beach of El Portet is located in the immediate vicinity of cafes and restaurants right by the sea. The parking lot is close by and free of charge. There are also various water sports activities to participate in the summer.
